In 1998 Phillips became a news sensation with articles deeming him "Youngest Talk Show Host", and others claiming the show was "Cheap Talk". After sending out a fake press release to the flash news service, Phillips found himself in a whirlwind of radio interviews from all over the world, even gaining the interest of "The Rosie O'Donnell Show", "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" and "The Late Show with David Letterman".

takeover of DCI Cable) but continues to air on many stations throughout the Dallas/Ft.
